Delphi Backup PluginPicoBackup support plugins that allows you to extend the capabilities of PicoBackup. The Delphi Backup plugin makes it extremely simple to backup and restore Borland Delphi projects (.DPR, .BDSPROJ), project groups (.BPG, .BDSGROUP), packages (.DPK) and more.

Just select the relevant project/package and PicoBackup automatically determines all the related files (.pas, .dfm, .ddp, .res, .dof, .dsk, .dpr, .dpk, etc.) that needs to be included in the backup.

Delphi Backup plugin allows you to select the project, project group or package that you would like to backup. PicoBackup will then automatically help you select all the relevant files that needs to be backup.

You are also given the option of including other files, file types or folders.

 

When restoring from backup, you will be provided with options on where to restore to. You can also filter the items to restore from backup.

 

You can easily view the contents of your backup and you can selectively restore files from the backup.

You can also compare the file in the archive with the original file on disk using a file compare (diff) tool.

Files that have changed or gone missing since your last backup will be shown in different colors.

 

Delphi Backup plugin allows you to configure your choice of file compare (diff) tool and also the default file types to backup.
